Patrick Ta Makeup was trying to be everything for everyone but lost its voice in the process. Verbal+Visual was approached to help optimize their Shopify+ Ecommerce experience. With such a massive social following and strong personality, my team set out to create a new digital experience centered on the founder himself. By turning the Ecommerce site into an immersive experience with exclusive content, we took bland and made it glam.

Discovery

In order to create a more effective site, the team completed a 3-week discovery sprint. This sprint allowed us to do a competitor audit, voice and tone audiet, audience research, and site metrics. With this data in hand, we defined our audiences, their needs, and their purchasing patterns. This deck served as the foundation for our approach to the new site.

With the Discovery approved, my team go to work bringing the site to life. Using more provocative language, clearer storytelling, immersive elements, and stunning imagery, we transformed the site to not only highlight the products but also strengthen the overall brand.
